Mrs. Anuwe has worked more than ten years in the education field.  She has taught strings/ orchestra in elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Prior to taking up employment at Cedar Hill I.S.D.,  Mrs. Anuwe worked for Arlington Independent School District where she taught strings for two years.  She also worked for The Oakridge College Preparatory School where she started the strings program with seven middle school students and grew the program to over sixty students within five years.  She is credited with her students winning numerous regional and state strings competitions.

Currently, Mrs. Anuwe is the orchestra coordinator at Cedar Hill Independent School District and she is also the orchestra director for Bessie Coleman and Permenter Middle Schools.

She has a passion for teaching and playing the violin and piano.  She has played the piano from the age of six.  Because she started learning piano at a very early age, she has come to love playing instruments, and that has carried over to other disciplines and aspects of her life.

She received her bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the National Institute of the Arts in Taipei, Taiwan, and her master of music from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.
